Hyper Objects

Hyper Objects are physical artifacts fabricated through laser cutting, exploring moments in which complexity becomes an aesthetic condition rather than a functional outcome.

Triggered by AI-driven fabrication processes operating through non-human criteria, the project asks how perception responds when form can no longer be immediately grasped or resolved.

Transparency and residue, sharp edges and rounded contours, repetition and distortion are combined to destabilize visual reading. The resulting experience resembles a perceptual mirage, where attention is drawn by ambiguity rather than clarity. The work speculates on a present condition in which cognitive overload becomes spatial and material.
